Fauci says Sen. Rand Paul’s false accusations ‘kindles the crazies’ and has incited death threats

The director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases showed a screen grab of a campaign website while answering questions from Senator Paul during a Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee hearing to examine the federal response to the coronaviruses.

Fauci accused Paul of inciting death threats against him and spreading bad information about him during a Congressional hearing.

Fauci told the Senate health committee that Paul's false accusations that the White House chief medical advisor caused millions of deaths have led to a constant stream of harassment.

When he gets out and accuses me of things that are completely untrue, it makes me fear for my life, my family and my children, because people are lying about me.

Fauci said that a California man was arrested in Iowa for trying to kill several government officials, including him.

He said that the man was going to Washington DC to kill Dr. Fauci. He thought that maybe he was killing people, so they found his car, an assault rifle and multiple magazines of bullets.

The two government officials have been at odds for a long time. Fauci called out Paul for misconstruing the truth about the country's response to the swine flu.

The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee is holding a hearing to examine the federal response to the coronaviruses disease and new emerging variant.

Fauci and Paul have argued about masks, the state of the Pandemic and the origin of the coronaviruses.

Fauci said Tuesday that he was being distorted by the senator. You personally attack me, with no evidence about anything you say.

Fauci was testifying with other people at the Department of Health and Human Services. The hearing was looking at the government's work against the omicron variant.
