Georgia has become the home of championship parades in recent months, with the Atlanta Braves celebrating their World Series championship in November.

Fans were quick to note that they hope the buses move a little slower than the ones carrying the Braves, who traveled through downtown Atlanta on their way to Truist Park.

The Dawgs began their campaign with a 10-3 victory over the 3rd ranked team in the country, and then proceeded to win their remaining games by at least 17 points.

The UGA defense held the Tide to 18 points in Monday's title game after Alabama handed them their first loss of the season.
The Georgia offense, which was held in check for much of the night, came alive late with a pair of passing touchdown in the fourth quarter to take control. The game-changing scores went to Adonai Mitchell and Brock Bowers.

The win was secured by the bulldogs after Kelee Ringo's touchdown return in the final minute.

Kirby Smart's group blew out second-seeded Michigan in the semifinals of the CFP to end the year on a high.

Georgia and its fans will celebrate the title on Saturday, but the work to defend it is already under way. The third-best recruiting class in the nation is owned by the Bulldogs.

The Dawgs will kick off their campaign against Oregon at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
