Loki Reveals the VFX Magic Cast to Create Its Breakout Star, Alligator Loki

I don't want to break it to you, but Alligator Loki wasn't a real alligator at all. Industrial Light & Magic was brought in to create the illusionists for the show, which was a great deal of work.

I think this one hits even if it doesn't include Alligator Loki. The final episode of the series is called "Journey Into Mystery" and it features Richard E. Grant's wonderfully-outfitted Classic Loki, which distracts Alioth from eating things. The video shows how much detail was put into recreating the realm of the gods, and then everything else that had to be added to create the scene. I think the visual effects studio has earned it.

The third shot of the video, where the four main characters walk across a grassy terrain, is the craziest thing I have ever seen. I can not imagine. It looks good, but it's also pointless when you need to make the rise and destruction of Asgard happen and a giant smoke-monster full of lightning is in it. Forget about the grass and just spend the time making another 30 seconds of Alligator Loki splashing around in his tub. It would be well spent.

Wondering where our feed went? The new one can be picked up here.
