The sale on purchased miles is through January 20, 2022. The standard version of the offer is for a 35% discount, and it is possible that different accounts may be targeted for different offers. If you purchase at least 5,000 miles in one transaction, you can get the 35% discount.
How much does it cost to travel with the airline?
All taxes and fees are included in the 3.0 cents per mile charge. There are discounts or bonuses before that. You would receive 100,000 miles at a cost of $1,950 if you maxed out the promotion and were eligible for the 35% discount.
The offers we have seen in the last few months are not as good as the promotions that are offered by the airline every so often.
How many miles can you purchase?
The Skywards limits members to 100,000 miles per account. If you have at least some activity in your Skywards account, you can be eligible for Skywards promotions on purchased miles.
It can take up to 48 hours for miles to be sent to your account.

Which credit card should you use?
Skywards mileage purchases are not counted as airfare purchases for credit card spending. If you want to reach minimum spending, or if you want to maximize your return on everyday spending, you should use a credit card that maximizes your return.
The Capital One Venture X rewards credit card has no foreign transaction fees and is the best option in this case. If you want to maximize everyday spending, the Chase Freedom unlimited card is a good option, but the cards have foreign transaction fees, so it wouldn't be a good option.

In 2020, the carrier eliminated carrier surcharges, which made the miles more valuable. There are still great deals to be had, even though the program eliminated the discount for booking one-ways. To give you some examples of pricing, you are generally going to find the best value booking premium cabin awards.
You will pay 62,500 miles in business class and 85,000 miles in first class for the one-way trip from New York to Milan or Newark to Athens.
Los Angeles to Dubai one-way will cost you more than 100,000 miles in business and first class.
Booking through Skywards is the best value in many situations, but there are other options, like booking through Japan Airlines Mileage Bank, which have restricted access to first class awards.
Skywards miles can be used for business class awards.
The ability to redeem Skywards miles for upgrades is one of the best kept secrets. You can upgrade award tickets with miles on the day of departure, as long as you have last seat availability. This is an opportunity not offered by any other airline.
Skywards miles can be used for first class upgrades.
There aren't many great partner redemption opportunities for Emirates Skywards. One exception is being able to redeem for travel in JetBlue Mint at an attractive cost.

How much are Skywards miles worth?
I value my Skywards miles at 1.2 cents each. I value miles conservatively, and there are many ways to get more value from the airline.
Is the miles of the airline expired?
Three years is the minimum amount of time for the miles to be valid. The memberships will end at the end of the month of the member's birthday. Skywards miles have to be redeemed within the allotted time.
What other ways can you earn Skywards miles?
There are lots of ways to earn Skywards miles with all of the major transfer partners. Transfer bonuses can improve the value proposition of transferring points even further.
Everyone has a different valuation for most points currencies, but I value them at 1.7 cents each. Some people prefer to accrue Skywards miles that way, while others prefer to buy Skywards miles and save them for other redemptions.
Skywards miles can be earned with co- branded credit cards from the United States.
There is a new promotion on Skywards miles. You can get a 35% discount on Skywards miles if you buy them for 1.95 cents each.
If you have a specific premium cabin redemption or upgrade in mind, this deal could be a good value. If you have access to credit cards, there are many other ways to earn Skywards miles.
