Georgia has done it. The Dawgs have been at the top of the college football world for a long time, having defeated the Alabama Tide in the College Football Playoff National Championship game.
The fact that the victory came against Alabama is sweet for Georgia fans. Kirby Smart's record as head coach of the program is what you need to understand why. Smart's team has lost just nine games since the beginning of the year. Three times, the Tide has faced off against Nick Saban.
Jimbo Fisher is the only other former assistant to beat the legendary coach, and he did it with the win.
The Dawgs scored 27 points in the second half after a slow first half that saw five field goals and zero touchdown. White ran for a 1-yard touchdown in the third quarter. After Alabama answered back in the fourth, Stetson Bennett connected with Adonai Mitchell on a 40-yard pass to regain the lead. Bennett found Brock Bowers in the end zone, and a pick-six by Kelee Ringo sealed the game for Georgia.

That's a shame. It was a tough end to the season. The injuries ended up hurting. I don't want to send it, but I wish I did because I hate tocongrats UGA, K_Kisner and everybody else. A football team. I'm going to miss college football.
