Following his exclusive tote bag release with KM20, Raf Simons launched a patterned long coat from his Fall/Winter 2019 collection. The imposing layering piece mixes animal print with graphic references to Blue Velvet, the 1986 drama-mystery film directed by David Lynch.

With a long construction that extends all the way past the knees, the coat sees bold leopard colors through-and-through. Five patches have been sewn over the upper chest, depicting red-tinted vignettes of scenes from the movie that highlights portraits of main characters like Jeffrey Beaumont (Kyle MacLachlan) and Sandy Williams (Laura Dern). Made in Italy, the coat comes with standard lapels, hidden central buttons, welt pockets, tonal stitching and adjustable cuffs, while a final patch on the left arm rounds up the details of the billowing piece.

The Raf Simons Animalier Coat is currently available at HLORENZO.COM and farfetch.com for approximately $5,409 USD.

Earlier this month, Simons dropped his latest Dr. Martens collaboration.
