Motherwell: Graham Alexander signs new deal as boss

Motherwell had the third-highest points tally in the league last year.

Graham Alexander extended his contract as Motherwell manager until 2025.

Stephen Robinson's side was in danger of being demoted a year ago, but they are currently fourth in the Scottish Premiership.

Fir Park had the best points return outside the Old Firm.

Alexander said that they will strive to work as hard as ever to serve Motherwell.

Alexander said that they know they have more to achieve.

The environment that we're allowed to develop here to produce results is particularly rewarding, because I have a brilliant relationship with the people I work with every day.

Motherwell went from being joint- bottom of the table to seventh last season. The fan-owned club has five wins in their last eight games and is now in a European spot.

Motherwell chairman Jim McMahon said they were excited about what Graham was trying to build with the club.

He is dedicated, hard working, and fully buys into the role at Motherwell.

The board will support him to help us achieve our goals.
