A new NFT features Robert De Niro's face reacting to the current price of ether

Toby Melville is on Fox.

Robert De Niro is partnering with LIT DAO for a non-fungible token collection.
The face of the two-time Oscar winner will be black and white on the NFTs, and the digital images will be programmed to change and react to the price of the coin.

The project uses De Niro's facial expressions as a market gauge to represent a technology that is adapting to a changing environment.
The project's OpenSea page states that the NFTs are an exploration of the interplay between market volatility and emotional volatility.

The NFTs were announced on January 8th by LIT. It costs 0.068 ether to take a picture of De Niro's face.
All of the NFTs and the token are available on the OpenSea marketplace. The floor price is about $860.
The image for the De Niro NFT has no reason to show a happy expression.

In the past week, ether, bitcoin, and other cryptocurrencies have sold off sharply due to the Federal Reserve's policy of being more cautious. Over the last five days, the price of ether has plunged 15%.
