Joe must go

Many people love Judge. A big smile and a big bat. New Yorkers love Judge Judy, the Brooklyn-born, spit-fire TV judge.

You have to perform on the big stage in New York to stay.

Joe Judge is the one that doesn't belong. He has failed as New York Giants coach and should be fired immediately.

Many are expected to be sent packing on Black Monday, the day after the season ends.

Judge should be one of the let-go group when the dust clears.

The Giants are a disaster.

The Judge can no longer continue his charade.

Judge was the first Giants coach to lose 13 games in a season. He is 10-23 in two seasons. Fans of the Giants can not laugh at the Jets.

Judge delivered a last stinker in Sunday's 22-7 loss to Washington, leaving no doubt that he can't get the job done.

Judge called quarterback sneaks. The first one was on a second-and-11. The second one was on a third-and-nine.

The Giants were backed up on their own end zone. Few could remember seeing a lot of plays to get out of the hole.

It was so bad that even Fox TV's football crew was disgusted. Enter analyst.

I mean, really? On the broadcast, he said. You are at the four-yard line, but you don't feel comfortable in your own offense to run a traditional play?

Fox play-by-play man Chris Myers said it was sad. They just did that, that is unbelievable.

Giants fans cheered as Judge the Bronx was booed. Judge made little sense in explaining his decisions after the debacle. He wanted to get room because they were backed up.

Analysts usually use kid gloves when talking about coaches. Even Fox's broadcasters couldn't look away as if nothing happened.

Judge was roasted by the social media site.

The Giants have been bad on offense this season. The Giants scored their only touchdown of the game, ending a 43-game streak of no scores.

That stat is not a typo.

The wheels fell off the bad boy. No honest person could have watched this season and gotten a glimpse of hope for the next one.

The Giants had six straight losses. They lost them by a combined score of 163-56.

The Giants had a 4-13 record in the first 17 games of the NFL season. The Jets had the same record. The team that hasn't won a Super Bowl since 1969

The Giants are a better organization than the Metlife Stadium co-tenants. The Giants have won four Super Bowls.

This can't continue.

Dave Gettleman has been the GM for four years and the last two seasons have been worse than Judge's. The Giants are 19-47 under his control.

He is expected to announce his retirement rather than being fired.

It wasn't a foregone conclusion that Judge would be fired by Gettleman, the man who hired him.

There was a rumour around Christmas that the Giants were thinking about keeping Judge after Gettlemen left.

It seems like that is off the table now. No one should be safe after an awful season. The front office, coaching staff and roster must be changed.

The Giants have seen quarterback Daniel Jones go backwards. He has been injured, but when he was healthy, he was disappointing. The jury might still be out on Jones and his future as a star quarterback, but it's obvious that his head coach is the one who made the decision. The gaval should fall on Joe Judge.
