‘Full House’ Star Bob Saget Dead At 65

Bob Saget, a fixture on sitcom Full House and host of America's Funniest Home Videos, was found dead in his hotel room in Florida on January 9. He was 65 years old.

The hotel security found Saget unresponsive in his room and the sheriff's department and fire department responded to the hotel. His death is not clear.

The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall was the location of a standup show by the man.

After a short stint on CBS' The Morning Program in 1987, Full House cast Bob Saget as Danny Tanner, the family head. The series, which aired on ABC from 1987 to 1995 and was the progenitor of the network's "T.G.I.F." comedy brand, was reborn as "Fuller House" on the internet in 2016 and features Bob Saget on an occasional basis.

America's Fuunniest Home Videos began as a one-hour special in 1989 and was hosted by Full House star Bob Saget. The comical videos showcase was hosted by Saget through the spring of 1997.
