The record-breaking win by CAMERON SMITH was the opening win of the season.
Smith finishes 34 under par to set a PGA Tour record at the Sentry Tournament of Hawaii. It was 0: 43.

No one has ever finished more under par in the history of the PGA Tour, and no one could appreciate it more than Smith.
Jon Rahm, the world's top ranked player, was on his heels every step of the way. Not with Matt Jones making eagles on the second and third holes and a 50-foot putt on the fifth to stay in the game.
Smith made a 3-foot putt on the 18th hole for a one-shot victory at the winners-only start to the new year in the 24 times it has hosted the event.
Smith said it was intense. It was crazy. I felt like I needed to make a shot to keep up with him.
Smith finished at 347 under 258.
Three players had finished at 30 under or lower. In 2003 Els set a new record at the Maui resort and won by eight shots. Jordan shot 30 under in 2016 and won by eight. In 2020 he shot 30 under at Liberty National and won by 11.
Smith won by one.
Smith said it was "unreal round". Something I'll never forget.
Four days of warm sunshine and not even a wind to move a palm frond, with soft fairways from heavy rain, and greens that were never more pure, was a testament to the four days of warm sunshine and not even a wind to move a palm frond.
The Plantation course record was tied with a 61 in the third round by three players, including Rahm. Gom tied the PGA Tour record for the most birdies in a 72 hole event with 32, matching the record shared by Paul Gow at the B.C. Open and Mark Calcavecchia at the Phoenix Open.
"I have every reason to be happy," he said. It's a sad moment.
Smith never gave him an opening, as he did all he could to play for the first time since October. They were tied for the lead at the start of the final round. Smith made two putts of 20 feet or more on the par-4 eighth and par-4 fourth.
On the 11th, Rahm made a 15-foot par putt.
They played the same holes the rest of the way. The 66 was the final score as Rahm closed with a total of 33 under.
The wind is the only defense on the golf course. What do you expect us to do when there's no wind?
Jones tried to join the race, holing out for eagle on the 13th, making a 4-foot eagle putt on the 15th, and holing a 50-footer on the 17th. Jones was able to post a third score of 61, tying the record on Saturday, because of a final birdie.
Jones was two shots short of winning, but he was one shot better than the previous record.
"If you told me I would have shot 32 under I would have been more than happy to let everyone play and see what happens," Jones said.
Smith became the sixth player to have won at both Hawaii stops on the PGA Tour when he picked up his fourth victory. He won the Sony Open in Honolulu in a playoff.
He moved to the 10th spot in the world, his highest ranking, and one of his goals for the year that he achieved in the first week.
After the longest break of his career, Rahm did not do anything wrong in his return. He had a chance to catch Smith on the 17th, but missed a 20-foot putt.
Smith came up just short of the green on the closing hole. His putt stopped 3 feet from the hole. That meant that Rahm had to hole a 50-foot eagle putt from just off the green, and it just missed.
The previous record for low score to par without winning was set by Bryson DeChambeau, who lost to Patrick Cantlay in a playoff in the BMW Championship at Caves Valley last year.
After playing in the Ryder Cup for the first time, Cantlay closed with a 67 to win the tournament. It was only good for fourth place.
