Tom and Ian Rapoport reported that the Houston Texans have set a tentative target to trade Deshaun Watson before the league year begins in March.

The sexual assault and misconduct allegations against him have kept him from being a member of the Texans. He is the subject of 22 lawsuits and 10 police complaints.

The situations will continue to evolve over the next few months.

Sources say that the prosecutor in Houston handling the 10 criminal complaints will give her opinion on any charges in the next few weeks and turn the case over to a grand jury. The depositions for the 22 women who accused him of sexual misdeeds in civil court will take place no sooner than February 22, and a pre- trial conference is set for May. The man has denied wrongdoing.

The Houston Chronicle reported in October that the Texans and Dolphins had struck a bargain over the general framework of a trade. Houston would have received at least three first-round picks.

Stephen Ross, the owner of the Dolphins, wants his legal issues resolved and required a level of clarity as to any suspension that might be handed down by the league. The league has a personal conduct policy.

Houston has left him as a healthy scratch for each of its first 16 games this season, meaning that he has yet to appear in a game. Both Tyrod Taylor and Davis Mills start. Mills has been 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217

In September, Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reported that the NFL doesn't have to make a decision on whether or not to punish or not.

The three-time Pro Bowler has been on paid suspension. He collected all of his base salary for the year.

The status quo is unlikely to stay for a second year. Either he'll be playing for another team or he'll suit up for the Texans.

Houston plans to look at its entire football operation, including first-year head coach David Culley.

Nick Caserio would have a clean slate if he traded Watson. The franchise would have a new coach, a new starting quarterback, and possibly multiple high-round draft picks to replenish the roster.
