The Las Vegas Raiders have not given up on getting a "rock star" head coach.

Jay Glazer of Fox Sports said the Raiders could explore trading for a coach who is currently employed, pointing to Sean Payton and Mike Tomlin as potential candidates.

The Raiders' interim coach is Rich Bisaccia, who has been with the team since Jon Gruden resigned after emails containing racist, anti-gay and sexist language were leaked to the media. The emails were uncovered as part of an investigation into the workplace culture of the Washington Football Team.
The Raiders have a chance to make the playoffs if they beat the Rams on Sunday night. Even though he's done a good job of keeping things together, it seems more likely than not that the Raiders will go for a full-scale remake.

The Raiders are likely to fire general manager Mike Mayock, according to CBS Sports. A new GM would want his choice of head coaching candidates, which could doom the candidacy of Bisaccia.

The Raiders gave Jon Gruden a 10-year contract when they hired him, so they're not risk-averse. Mark Davis values name recognition on the sideline and a coach such as Payton or Tomlin would move the needle.

It's not likely that the Saints or the Steelers would be very interested in getting rid of their long-tenured coaches.
