The Great Britain swimmer who is set to represent his country in Beijing in February won the gold medal for the second year in a row in Krasnoyarsk, Russia.

Bankes won in Austria in December after finishing second in China.

The reigning world champion is in the lead.

Bankes, who competed for France at the past two Winter Olympics before moving to Great Britain, has 409 points after five events.

Bankes said that he was a lot happier with his riding today and that he felt good going into the big final.

I had some really good starts today, so I'm happy.

The slopestyle World Cup event in California had a British snowboarder finish fourth.
