Henry was not activated by the TennesseeTitans for the regular-season finale against the Houston Texans. A team source said that Tennessee expects Henry to be back in time for the playoffs.

"We have some time to make that decision and we will evaluate where we are at," said Vrabel. I think he looked good. We are monitoring his speed, mileage, and volume to see how he responds. I feel good about where he is.

Henry was put on injured reserve on Tuesday and was able to practice for a few days. The 21-day window for Henry to be added to the active roster was opened by the designation.

Henry fractured his foot in the team's 34-31 win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8 and was placed on injured reserve. Henry's 937 rushing yards rank sixth among all running backs this season. When he was injured, he was the leader in the league in rushing.

Tennessee went to a committee approach to replace Henry with D'Onta Foreman leading the way. Henry has been out for eight games and the team has a record of.500.

The top seed in the playoffs is up for grabs on Sunday when the Texans visit theTitans.

Jeremy McNichols was released from the active roster and Jordan Wilkins was added to the practice squad.
