The Born Ready renaissance in Indiana will continue for the rest of the season.
Lance Stephenson is set to sign with the Pacers for the rest of the season, according to a report.
In four games, he averaged 14 points, 6.0 assists and 3.0 rebound. He scored 30 points in the loss to the Nets and then put up 16 points, 14 assists and six rebound in the win over the Jazz.
Lance has a lot to do with that career number. "They fit together," Pacers coach Rick Carlisle told reporters. Lance has the ability to make a lot of things happen, and he has the ability to be unpredictable yet under control. It helps loosen things up for Domas and the rest of the team. Lance is so kind that it's intriguing. It's a cool characteristic of him as a person.
One of the most beloved players in recent Pacers history is Lance Stephenson, who is known for his boisterous, sometimes hostile style. During the Pacers-Miami Heat playoff series, he got under the skin of James, becoming a critical fixture in the Pacers rotation.
After leaving the Pacers, he bounced to five teams in three seasons before finding himself in Indiana again. After a brief run with the Pacers, another successful run with the team led to him leaving once again in free agency, only to struggle in a stint with the Lakers and find himself out of the NBA.
For whatever reason, his powers are only unlocked when he wears a Pacers uniform. Both sides are ready to see if the marriage can stick.
