After a successful stint with the Milwaukee Bucks, it is being reported that DeMarcus is getting another chance to play in the NBA.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, the Denver Nuggets plan to sign Cousins to a 10-day contract.

Since the start of last season, he has played for four different teams. He's had time with the Milwaukee Brewers, Houston Astros, and Los Angeles Clippers.

A non-guaranteed one-year deal was signed by Cousins in November. He was brought in to bolster their frontcourt depth because of a back injury.

The teams had to guarantee their contracts by January 7.

The general manager of the Bucks told Wojnarowski on January 5th that they were waiving Cousins to make room for another player on the roster.

We made a decision to have an open roster spot, but there's nothing we can do to prevent us from partnering with him again down the road. He was a great help to us, and hopefully we helped him as well.

In 17 appearances for the NBA champion, he averaged 9.1 points and 5.8 rebound.

The Nuggets need more depth in the frontcourt because of the health and safety protocols. They have a third center, behind Jeff Green and Jeff Jokic, for head coach Michael Malone to use off the bench.

The Denver Broncos are going to play the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday.
