The Kansas City Chiefs secured the second seed in the playoffs, but they didn't look like a team ready for a deep run. They needed an 86-yard fumbled return by Nick Bolton in the fourth quarter to beat the Broncos.
The game between the Houston Texans and the TennesseeTitans will be shown on Sunday. If the Texans win, Kansas City will be the conference's top seed and have a first-round bye.

Unless Houston upsets Tennessee, the Chiefs will host a wild-card playoff game next weekend, but look like a team that could use a week off. The Broncos entered the game with an average of less than 20 points per game. They hadn't scored more than 13 points in any of their previous games.
The Broncos scored 24 points and had 361 yards, which is more than their season average.
"If we don't get the bye, we'll be ready," said Andy Reid, who with Saturday's victory became the fifth coach in NFL history to win 250 games, including the playoffs. We are going to use whatever time we have to get ready for the next game.
The Broncos have lost to the Chiefs 13 times, the last being in 2015.
The sixth straight title for theAFC West was already secured by the Chiefs.
