Resident Alien Returns with More of Alan Tudyk's Delightful Weirdness

The Resident Alien series was a hit with viewers when it aired last year. Alan Tudyk plays the alien Harry Vanderspeigle, who has been working as a doctor ever since he crash-landed on Earth. Colorado touched his heart so much that he had a change of heart and spare the planet after spending time with the people of Patience.

The trailer for the upcoming season two shows Harry making a decision that has consequences, primarily in that his people are coming to Earth to finish the job. Harry is against that and wants to protect the planet, particularly Sara Tomko's Asta and Judah Prehn's Max. He can say that he tried to see New York before it was destroyed.

The trailer makes the show look like a lot of fun and funny, even though it's not been seen before. You think I have a tattoo of a chocolate factory on my ass? It looks like the perfect show for Alan Tudyk. He has always been a funny actor with a lot of range, and it is nice to see him take center stage after being the supporting character in many other shows.

Linda Hamilton and Alex Borstein will be guest stars in Resident Alien's second season.
