Canada warns ‘full investigation’ into wild Sunwing party flight to Mexico

There is a full investigation into the party Sunwing flight.

Canada's transportation minister is investigating after a Sunwing plane filled with maskless passengers partied and violated several air travel rules.

Transport Canada has been asked by the transport minister to investigate reports of passengers dancing and using electronic devices in violation of air transport rules.

There are reports of unacceptable behavior on a Sunwing flight. Transport Canada has been asked to investigate. The minister said that they must take the risks seriously.

The health and safety of on-board personnel as well as passengers during a flight is a top priority. The passengers on Sunwing's flight will be held accountable for their actions.

If the department determines that non-compliance with Transport Canada regulations has occurred, fines of up to $5,000 per offence could be issued to passengers.

The party group are having a hard time returning to Canada as airlines refuse to fly with them.

Air Canada and Air Transat have both said they would not allow the group to fly home on their planes.

Canada continues to battle a surge in coronaviruses infections, which are caused by the Omicron variant.

More than two million cases and 30,399 deaths were reported by Canada on Tuesday.

The country reverted to strict restrictions after some provinces stopped in-school learning. Restaurants and dining rooms have been told to close at 10 pm.
