Las Vegas Raiders want to beat Los Angeles Chargers to make NFL playoffs, not settle for tie

Henderson. The Raiders are confused by the situation in which the Los Angeles Clippers and Las Vegas Raiders need to tie in Sunday's season finale at Allegiant Stadium for both teams to make the playoffs.

"I don't know what you're talking about, I don't think I ever passed math, so I don't even know what you're talking about," Rich said with a laugh. We're going to look to put our best foot forward on Sunday night, and we're really excited about our opportunity in front of us. We're going to put a product on the field that Raider Nation can be proud of. That's our focus right now.

The rivalry game was moved into prime time to get as many people watching as possible. A tie is good enough for both if the Indianapolis Colts lose at Jacksonville.

If the Colts and PittsburghSteelers lose, the Raiders will be in the field.

The Colts haven't won at Jacksonville since 2014, and they're a 15.5-point favorite. The Ravens are favored by five points.

The games are expected to be over in three hours.

"For me, I'm not even going to watch anything, hopefully I speak for everyone, but for me," Carr said. I hope the TVs are off. I hope no one is watching, and I hope our focus is on winning the football game. If we can keep it, someone will come up to me and say, "Hey, we're in." I still want to beat the Chargers.

If the Colts and Steelers both win, the Raiders have to beat the Bolts to get their first playoff appearance since the 2002 season.

If the Colts lose, someone said we could just take knees and tie. I don't want to tie these guys either, so I was like, 'Well, that sounds good to you.' I'm pretty confident that our whole team will be focused on beating the Chargers, no matter what. They beat us last time. We just want to play the game.

Maxx Crosby laughed at the permutations and Carr's turn-off-the-TVs dogma.

Crosby said he's a little bit different in that way. I'm one of the guys that's looking and I'm watching the games in the locker room. I love football and I try to make it as light as possible.

I don't want to freak out and be like, 'All right, I'm not watching anything,' because football is a kid's game. We have to win no matter what happens. I'm not going to say anything about the team. We want to win this game.
