Emile Smith Rowe's pride at Arsenal's No More Red initiative with adidas

The hope is that they can use their influence to bring about bigger change.

Everyone needs inspiration even if they can't play football.

Creative young people will be encouraged to pursue their own interests.

Among the first group to be supported are a saxophonist, a boxer, a young artist and a youth coach with ambitions of becoming a film director.

No More Red wants to provide those opportunities.

To show that there is more than one way.

"When I was younger, there wasn't much chance to get away from things in life," says Maitland-Niles. We need to change the way we are doing things.

Football is a big deal in London and around the world. Hopefully people will listen and see that we are trying to do something positive.

There is light at the end of the tunnel, and there is a different path that they can take, instead of the blood that is shed at the end of the tunnel. The message is straightforward but powerful at the same time. No more red.

That is a powerful statement.

It's too late for many people.

It's not too late for those who have died to have legacies.

It's not too late for everyone.

It's even more important that we are the focal point of this campaign because that happened before one of our games.

In an ideal world, we wouldn't hear another story again. Life is not like that. Just for the numbers to go down. That would be a start.

Smith Rowe hopes to be one of the 10 players who walk out in the special shirt.

They will be donated to organizations that address the root causes of violent youth crime.

The shirt will not be made available for sale.

You have to earn them.

He hopes that this can change a few lives.

If it does that, more young people will start listening and we will hear other stories, maybe they can get the opportunities as well.

You can't change everyone. We are on the right path if we can help some people.
