Charlie Batch, a former quarterback for Eastern Michigan and the Philadelphia Eagles, has offered a $1 million NIL deal to the Oklahoma signal-caller.

The Senior Vice President of Strategic Investments for CapStone is named Batch, according to Tyler J. Davis of the Detroit Free Press.

Williams, who had 27 total touchdown, 21 passing, six rushing, and 1,912 passing yards for the Sooners last year, was declared by Batch on Thursday.

Williams implied that his former head coach Lincoln Riley's move to USC was the reason he was entering the NCAA transfer portal. He made it clear that returning to Oklahoma under Venables was on the table.

The Eagles lost to Liberty in the LendingTree Bowl, but they came back to win the rest of the season. The program has won at least six games in three of the last four years.

The new NCAA name, image and likeness rule is an obvious incentive to land someone like Williams. EMU is a long shot with Williams likely having a choice at some blue-blood programs.
