Apple CEO Tim Cook earned $98.7 million in base salary, stock, and other compensation, according to a statement that Apple filed with the SEC today.
Cook received a base salary of $3 million and a stock award of $82 million. The stock award includes performance-based stock awards and time-based stock awards, and will vest over time. None of this stock has vested yet.
Cook had more than 5 million shares vest in the year 2021. The $754 million does not count as part of his compensation package because they were granted earlier.
Cook received a salary of $3 million and an $82 million stock grant, as well as non-equity incentive plan compensation of $12 million. The other compensation includes a vacation payouts, security expenses, and personal air travel. Cook is required to use a private plane for security reasons.
