Paramount+ scores new Beavis And Butt-Head movie

Beavis and Butt-Head will have one more chance to change their ways, like Scrooge did when he realized it was not too late to change. A new movie featuring Mike Judge's stupid teens is coming to Paramount+ as soon as this year.

The news comes from a post by Judge, who hopefully isn't thinking too hard about what his boys would be like on social media. Mike Judge said that a brand new movie and more on Paramount+ would be returning with Beavis and Butt-Head. No exact date yet, but soon. They need some time to get back in shape.

It's not a lot to go on, but it seems like Beavis And Butt-Head will get the same treatment as South Park. South Park made 14 movies and five more seasons last year as part of a multi-year deal that made Matt Stone and the show's creators unspeakably wealthy. We don't think Judge is getting that deal. The first sequel to the 1997 masterpiece Beavis And Butt-Head: Do America would be the new movie.

MTV commissioned a short season of new episodes for Beavis and Butt-Head in 2011. This incarnation of the series was praised by the A.V. Club. The season finale was written by reviewer Simon Abrams.

The finale of Beavis and Butthead is a great indicator of what Mike Judge did to replicate the success of his cartoon. The show hasn't changed at all, that's the secret to its longevity. Beavis and Butthead are still puzzled over the superficiality of the pop culture that they have surrounded themselves with. They aren't any smarter for it.

G/O Media might get a commission.
