New Englanders love their duck boots, and for good reason, since you can wear them basically 3 seasons out of the year! With temps dipping into the 40s this weekend, I've finally resigned that summer is over and it's time to say goodbye to sandals for the season and swap them out for more weather-resistant options.

I've been a longtime Sperry fan and am partnering with the brand to share their signature Saltwater boots, updated with a quilted chevron upper! I also love the look of the olive, but full black may be a little easier to pair with professional outfits while commuting in inclement weather. I wear mine with leggings, jeans, or fleece-lined tights in the fall through winter, typically in damp to lightly snowing conditions. For similar options, also check out Sperry's original duck boot in 4 neutral colors and their wool option with thinsulate!

These have a thin fleece lining, and provide warmth while not looking too bulky for a weather-resistant boot. If you're between sizes, I'd recommend going down a half size. For reference, I'm usually a 5/5.5 and take the Saltwater in sz 5 with winter socks.

Thank you to Sperry for partnering on this post.
