That Robot With the Super Creepy Facial Expressions Is Back, and Yikes

A video of a humanoid robot with many eerily similar expressions went viral on social media last month.

The likes of Musk commented on the video, noting how unnerving it was to watch the robot.

We will finally get to see more of the robot. At this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Engineered Arts took its robot called Ameca, which is described as a "she" by its owners, and had it sit down for an interview.

The experience was as good as we expected, and it was clear that the extraordinary bot is not the result of a computer program.

The valley girl is eccentric.

Ameca looks like she was pulled out of a movie.

The director of operations at engineered arts said that they have all seen it in the movies. Suddenly, that is real.

While Ameca didn't talk during the interview, the humanoid robot seemed to react to what the interviewer was saying, as if a human was standing next to him.

The team deliberately gave Ameca a robotic look in order to pull it backwards out of the valley.

Case expression can be used.

Ameca will do what?

It would take ten to 20 years for Ameca to mingle with real humans, according to the author.

The robot can use two cameras in its eyes to track people.

It is an example of how far the technology has come, as it shows how far the humanoid robot has come.

If you stare into Ameca's eyes for too long, you might get fooled into thinking she's real.

Ameca the robot is more human than I thought.

A new video shows a robot with realistic facial expressions.
