Scott was found not guilty of driving while intoxicated and driving while ability impaired.

Scott has to pay two fines of $100 each.

Scott issued a statement after the verdict was announced.

Scott was arrested in White Plains, New York, after police found him asleep at the wheel of his vehicle at a traffic light.

Scott failed a field sobriety test after he refused to give a blood sample or submit to a breathalyzer.

The Mets said they were surprised and deeply disappointed to learn of the alleged drunk driving case involving Scott. We take this matter very seriously. We will not be traveling with the team for the road trip while we learn more.

Scott was placed on administrative leave by the Mets. Billy Eppler was hired by the Mets.

Scott was named New York's acting general manager in January 2021. Scott joined the organization as the assistant general manager in December 2020.
