This is a story of many people on a flight testing positive for coronaviruses, and it's not the first one.
125 people on a flight from Milan to Amritsar tested positive.
On January 5, 2022, a charter flight from Milan, Italy to Amritsar, India will leave. The flight was operated by EuroAtlantic Airways, a Portuguese charter company. The flight in question was operated by a 19-year-old Boeing .
160 adults and 19 children were on the flight. Adult passengers had to be tested upon arrival in Italy, which is considered a high risk destination. Of the 160 adult passengers, 125 have tested positive for coronaviruses.
All passengers who tested positive have been put into a facility to recover.
I believe all international travelers arriving in India also need a test within 72 hours of starting their journey, right? The passengers should have undergone pre- travel testing. Some travelers choose to just fake test results, rather than actually being tested.
How is this possible?
This is a situation where you can't help but be confused. In the past, we have seen a lot of cases of coronaviruses on flights, like when 10% of the passengers on a flight from South Africa tested positive.
125 or 160 adults on a flight testing positive for coronaviruses, especially with a pre- travel testing requirement? If you gathered 160 people who had been exposed to coronaviruses three days before your trip, you wouldn't get many positive tests for the disease by the time you arrived in India.
Omicron is incredibly contagious, but this simply defies all odds, especially when you consider that everyone probably had coronaviruses before they got on the plane.
There has to be more. Did all 160 adults attend the same event a few days before the flight? Is the tests in Amritsar not working correctly? This is a different level.
The bottom line.
125 of 160 adults on the EuroAtlantic Airways charter flight from Milan to Amritsar tested positive for coronaviruses, setting a new record. I am speechless as to how this is possible.
What do you think about the number of positive coronaviruses on this flight from Italy to India?
