Caspian Airlines Boeing 737-400 Landing Gear Collapses on Landing

On January 5, 2022, a left main gear collapse occurred on a plane that was landing in Iran.

The plane that was delivered to Malaysia airlines in 1992 was used to perform flight RV-6906 from Mashad to Isfahan, but the main gear collapsed almost immediately after landing. The aircraft came to a stop on the soft, flat ground.

3 female passengers received minor injuries and 2 male passengers received serious injuries when they were evacuated from the aircraft, all as a result of the slides.

The main base of Caspian Airlines is in Tehran, and they operate in other major cities in Iran. They have a fleet of 10 aircraft, including the Boeing 499 and the MD-83.
