Nikola Motors drops its $2 billion lawsuit against Tesla

It is possible that both of his names were employed by electric car companies, but perhaps less so that he sued them. According to a report, the company is dropping its patent lawsuit against the electric car maker.
Both companies have agreed to withdraw their claims against each other, according to a filing in a San Francisco court. The side door, fuselage, and windshield designs were all patented by Nikola. The claims were denied by the company.
The hydrogen-powered Nikola One semi-truck was unveiled in 2016 with the promise of an 800-1,200 mile range with no pollution. The SEC accused it of deceiving investors by showing the truck moving under power when it was rolling down a hill. The CEO was charged with two counts of securities fraud and one count of wire fraud by a federal grand jury. He denied the claims.
