A free transfer from Seagulls to German club Bochum has been completed.
He made 35 appearances in the premier league in four years at the Seagulls.
He joined the Seagulls for a then club record fee of £15m in January 2018, but has spent much of the past three seasons on loan at Cincinnati and Hoffenheim.
Graham Potter is hoping that the Dutch man can reignite his career at Bochum.
After playing for Cincinnati in the Major League Soccer in June, Locadia has made three appearances for the Seagulls.
He last played in a goalless draw with a team in the league.
The move to VfL [Bochum] has worked out for the man who scored six goals in the competition for the Seagulls.
"I hope that this will change at VfL because I have had little playing time recently," said the German club's website.
After being recalled from a spell atStoke City, defender Leo Ostigard joined Genoa on a loan for the rest of the season.
Genoa, who are third from bottom in Italy's Serie A, have signed a 22-year-old who made 13 appearances for the Potters in the Championship.
