Greg Robinson, the former head coach of the Syracuse football team and the Denver Broncos defensive line coach, died on Wednesday from a form of Alzheimer's disease, his son Dominic told Chris Carlson of Syracuse.com. He was 70 years old.
Robinson's coaching career began when he was an assistant at the University of the Pacific.
He was an assistant for Cal State Fullerton from 1977 to 1979 and an assistant for NC State from 1980 to 1981 and a defensive line coach for UCLA from 1982 to 1988.

Everyone remembers the Broncos offensive stars during their Super Bowl winning years. In the '97 playoffs, Greg Robinson's defense allowed 18 points per game and just under 11 per game. Incredible numbers.
