Nolan Smith, Georgia's leading tackler, was not afraid to say what he did after Alabama defeated the Georgia in the SEC Championship game.

Want the truth? Smith said Wednesday that he cried. I'm 20 years old. I've been playing football for 16 years and haven't won anything. I haven't won a title. I've never won a championship, but I have won a couple of bowl games. That is one thing that keeps me going.

The last time Georgia won a national championship was in 1980. They will try to end that 41-year streak when they play Alabama in the College Football Playoff National Championship. In Indianapolis, you can watch the following channels:

"That's something in the back of my mind that keeps me driving and I just want to win," Smith said. I don't care how it gets done, how pretty it looks. I just want to win.

After losing to Alabama in the Capital One Orange Bowl, the 3rd ranked Georgia rebounded to beat the 2nd ranked Michigan 34-11 and earn a second chance against the Tide. Georgia has lost seven games in a row against Alabama, including a 26-23 defeat in overtime in the CFP National Championship.

Smith said it when he was a freshman: "every man wakes up and puts his pants on one leg at a time." There is no such thing as a mental block. You have a key word in your head. That is mental. You have to get out and do it. I don't think it's a mental block, I think the first time we played them we gave up a couple big plays.

In the loss to Georgia last month, the Alabama offense racked up The pressure will have to be put on the winner of the Heisman Trophy if the Bulldogs are going to have success. In the first meeting, he completed 26 of 44 passes for 421 yards and three touchdown. Tide receiver Jameson Williams had seven catches. John Metchie III tore his left knee in the first meeting and won't play this time.

Georgia's defense wants to create pressure, according to Dan Lanning. We want to get after him. I don't want to give away our secrets yet, but wait until the game can figure that out. We want to make a difference. There are a lot of different ways you can do that. They did unique things to protect him because he is good at avoiding the rush. We have to attack it differently.

Georgia's defense has 45 sacks this season, which is fourth most in the country. Smith had seven quarterback hurries against Michigan.

Smith said that the best rush is the best coverage and that they have to get to the quarterback. There's nothing else to say about it. I know a lot of people were hurt by the last game, we did not do that. I hold myself and my room accountable. Pass-rushers are supposed to get after the quarterback, but we didn't do that. The difference between this game and that game is that we have to do it. We have to find a way.

Georgia has been in a dry spell for more than four decades, but it might end if it finds a way to do it.

Smith said that you can only judge a man by what he does next and how hard he gets hit. I think we got hit pretty hard, but the guys didn't sweat it from the beginning. Guys said they know they need to work and have an opportunity. I think we bounced back well now that we're in the national championship. It's time to finish the job. It's all about finishing what we started, and that's all that needs to be said.
