Lucasfilm has shared the final trailer for the ninth installment of its sci-fi epic, Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker.
A heartwarming goodbye meant as the culmination of the Skywalker Saga, the last trailer highlights Rey's ( Daisy Ridley) journey of self-discovery, her last face-off with Supreme Leader Kylo Ren ( Adam Driver) and the final battle between the Resistance and the First Order. With the help of Poe Dameron ( Oscar Isaac), Finn ( John Boyega), Rose (Kelly Marie Tran), Chewbacca, BB-8, C3PO, R2D2, Lando Calrissian ( Billy Dee Williams) and the spirits of Luke Skywalker ( Mark Hamill) and General Leia Organa (the late Carrie Fisher), they band together to defeat the First Order and Emperor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid) once and for all.
