Dancehall Queen Spice Gets Nominated for First Grammy, Makes History

Spice wants to show women how much can be accomplished on their own, and tells us that making her debut album the first to win a grammy is a big step towards that goal.

The Queen of Dancehall is one of two female dancehall artists who are nominated for Best Reggae Album. She told us about her rags to riches story on Tuesday's "TmZ Live."

She says that for the past 10 years she has managed herself. I'm excited because I've been my own record label and everything.

Spice wants to show people that it is possible to have dreams. She says you can open another door when one closes.

This has been a big year for the artist and star of "Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta".

People in the music scene are not the only ones who agree. The song made it to Prez Obama's 2021.

Spice said that she is living that out and that she just bought a home in Atlanta.

As long as Omicron doesn't ruin everyone's fun, the Grammys are supposed to go down on January 31 in L.A.
