Tom Brady says it was 'flattering' to sign a ball an opponent intercepted, but that it won't happen again

Tom Brady has signed many autographs during his two decades in the NFL, but on Sunday he signed something that was different.

Brady was approached by a Jets player after the game, who had picked Brady off.

The New York Jets will be playing on January 2, 2022.

The ball he picked off from Brady was in the hands of Echols. Brady gave Echols a souvenir he'll never forget.

Brady was gracious in his interaction with Echols, but the quarterback doesn't want to sign away his worst plays.

Brady said that he didn't plan on signing any more footballs for his opponent.

What a nice person. A young player. Brady said that it was kind of flattering. I don't usually sign an intercept ball. I think it's the first time.

I don't like signing mistakes. I'm not going to do that again. I know it's the season of giving, but I won't be giving any more gifts. It's better to receive than it is to give.

Brady has only thrown 12 picks all season, and will hope to avoid costly mistakes as the playoffs begin.

Good luck to the defenders trying to pick off Brady.
