George Floyd's 4-Year-Old Niece Shot in Houston, On the Mend

George Floyd's young niece is on the mend after what seems like a targeted attack on family members in his hometown of Houston.

Arianna was hit with a bullet while she slept in her bed. According to Houston's ABC13, the bullet was fired by someone who opened fire into her family's house.

She was taken to the hospital where she underwent surgery. Arianna's father says she had a punctured lung and a broken ribs, but she's doing well.

The family of Arianna tells ABC13 they know who the shooter is, but they don't think it's a coincidence.

Arianna attended some protests last year to honor her uncle. She is the daughter of Bianca, George's niece, and LaTonya, his sister.

The story is developing.
