The seven-day average of confirmed and probable Covid-19 cases in the city increased by 28% from the week before. Los Angeles has a seven-day average of 19,154 new cases, which is higher than the other capital of the entertainment industry. The View had a scare in September when two of its hosts were taken off air after testing positive for Covid-19, but the tests later proved to be false positives.
