The Trump administration wanted to trademark the name "Space Force", but it couldn't because the first production of "Space Force" was already done.
Everyone hoped that this show would make a bigger impact in the sci-fi comedy genre, given the talent in front of the camera and behind it. Thankfully, there are more recent examples of success, like "Red Dwarf," "Avenue 5" and "The Orville", so we can build on recent attempts that didn't split our sides like "Moonbase 8."
