David Ojabo is going to be drafted by the NFL.
Ojabo was part of a dominant pass rush for Michigan this season, and he racked up 11 sacks, 12 tackles for loss and 35 total tackles. He is projected as a potential first-round pick in the upcoming NFL draft, as a result of his partnership with defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, who helped turn the Michigan defense and season around in 2021.
Ojabo is the ninth prospect overall and the No. 1 outside linebacker, according to Mel and Todd.
After moving to the United States, the 6-foot-5, 250-pound junior started playing football his junior year of high school. Ojabo played football for two years at Blair Academy in New Jersey and was ranked as the 282nd recruit in the class of 2019.
Ojabo played in six games in the 2020 season, but didn't see any game action in his freshman season. In his first two seasons, he only had one tackle.
