We were aware of the challenge of being able to make our own Wolves name because of the trademarks held by other teams. Variations like RedWolves wouldn't have been viable without Wolves.
Wright provided no further information about the final choice, but he was confident that the choice was inspired and informed by the fans.
The team's color scheme will remain burgundy and gold, which was also evident in the brief jersey sneak peak in the video.
