Marchand said he'd been sharing some of his supplies with other drivers because his truck was well-stocked with fuel, food, and water. He said he'd never seen people stranded on a snowed-in highway without supplies.

"No one driving on I-95 ever thinks that I-95 is going to shut down for more than 14 or 15 hours."
