The new U.S. Covid cases are at a record high as of 6 a.m. JHU data shows Monday.
There have been 56,189,547 cases confirmed in the US since the start of the Pandemic. The virus has caused more deaths than any other disease in the country.
The states with the highest number of new confirmed cases per 100,000 people are Maryland, Alabama, Delaware, New Jersey and Ohio.
