The 24 states that sued over the requirement that Head Start employees get a vaccine won. The move by President Joe Biden was against the authority of Congress.

The rule required universal masking for Head Start children 2 years old and older, and it mandated that all staffers, contractors, and volunteers be vaccine free by January 31.

Early Head Start programs are for infants, toddlers, and pregnant women to promote the school readiness of children ages birth to 5 from low-income families by supporting their development in a comprehensive way, according to its website.

The issue in this case is not whether individuals should take the vaccine, but whether federal agencies can require them to do so. If the Executive branch is allowed to make laws through Federal agencies, then this country is no longer a democracy.

The separation of powers must be upheld, the court noted, as the COVID-19 Pandemic has "fatigued" the country.

The ruling said that the issue will be decided by a higher court. This issue is important. The separation of powers has never been so thin.
