Scosche today announced the launch of a number of new products in its MagicMount product lineup.
The MagicMount Pro Charge5 mounts are compatible with Apple's MagSafe phones. It's worth noting that these are not using Apple's MagSafe protocol and are limited to 7.5W wireless charging.
The mounts come with a car accessory for charging and a 20W charging port for faster charging, and there's a 360-degree head to allow the iPhone to be used in portrait or landscape mode.
The MagicMount Pro Charge5 mounts can be used with older iPhones if they have a MagicPlate magnet. The MagicMount Pro Charge5 can be purchased in four different options, with a launch planned for spring 2022. The MagicMount Pro MagSafe options are less expensive.
Scosche is also introducing wireless charging. The BoomCanMS Portable is a small speaker that can fit on the back of a MagSafe iPhone. The MagSafe technology doesn't add anything for sound, but it does keep the speaker from becoming lost and it also doubles as a kickstand.
The larger BoomBottle Magnetic Portable Speaker allows the iPhone to be attached to the top for easy access to streaming music, hands-free calls, and more. The new speakers will be launched later in the year.
Scosche is introducing the BaseLynxMS, which is designed to integrate with the BaseLynx system for multi- device charging, for those who already have a MagSafe Charger from Apple. The BaseLynxMS accommodates a MagSafe Charger and is able to charge in an upright position because it uses Apple's own technology.
The BaseLynx MS Wireless Stand for MagSafe is going to cost $50.
