Raiders' Nate Hobbs Arrested For DUI, Allegedly Passed Out In His Car In Vegas



The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's facts and circumstances surrounding the case leave serious concerns that this does not qualify as a drunk driving case in Nevada.

Raiders interim head coach Rich Bisaccia said that he and the team are aware of the arrest of the player, but nothing has been determined about the player's status on the team.

After the team's huge win over the Colts, the rookies was found passed out in his car in Vegas and arrested for drunk driving.

Law enforcement sources tell us cops were called to The Cromwell Hotel in the early hours of Monday after witnesses saw a sleeping Hobbs on a parking lot exit ramp.

Our sources say that the football player was arrested after he failed field sobriety tests.

The 22-year-old was booked into the Clark County Detention Center at 6:38 AM.

A jail official tells us that the man is currently in the process of being released from custody. The jail official said that a court date was set for May.

In the Raiders' win over the Colts in Indianapolis on Sunday, Hobbs started as a corner and recorded 4 tackles.

The arrest comes two months after Henry Rugg, a former Raiders teammate, was accused of driving drunk and slamming his car into a woman.

Officials determined that she burned to death after her vehicle caught on fire. The incident led to multiple charges for Ruggs, including two felony drunk driving counts.

The Raiders can make it to the playoffs with a win over the Bolts on Sunday.

It is not clear if he will play the game.
