Urban Meyer denied using a photo of Martin to tell the team not to wear hoodies in meetings.

Meyer told the reporter.

Our team rule was no hats or hoodies or sunglasses of any kind, but only in team meetings, so we could see their eyes and make sure they were paying attention and not sleeping. We never showed a picture of Martin. You can check with any other player on my teams during that time to confirm what I am saying. The other players know what he is saying. I wouldn't do that. The man is crossing the line. People are piling on. But that never happened.

The picture was used during a team meeting, according to Marcus.

My first meeting with my team. The photo was presented to us via a powerpoint in order to institute our building wide rule of "no hoods" in the building.

Martin was shot and killed by a neighborhood watch captain in Florida at the age of 17. The article of clothing he was wearing became a point of discussion.

The coach told him he would ruin his life if he caught him smoking.

Meyer worked as a television analyst for two years after he left Ohio State. He joined the Jacksonville Jaguars in the year 2021, but only played 13 games in the NFL before being fired.

Meyer was accused of physical and verbal abuse while he was the head coach.

According to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, Josh Lambo said Meyer kicked him during practice.

Meyer got into confrontations with assistant coaches and Marvin Jones Jr., according to Tom Pelissero.

The veteran coach could be showing a trend.
