Epstein’s Secret Settlement With Rape Accuser Virginia Giuffre Finally Revealed

According to court documents, Jeffrey Epstein paid $500,000 to settle a lawsuit.

Giuffre is seeking damages from Prince Andrew in her civil suit, in which she claims that he raped her three times when she was 17, and that she was forced to have sex with a convicted sex trafficker.

Giuffre's side is happy that the settlement has been made public, especially given the small amount of money paid out to Giuffre, according to a source close to Giuffre. She was paid millions of dollars in various lawsuits.

The source said that Andrew's lawyers' claims in their legal briefs about the impact of the settlement were not accurate. It stops the public from thinking that people are doing something.

Andrew is likely to argue that the settlement resulting from the complaint of Virgina Giuffre applies to royalty.

Giuffre agreed to forever discharge any other person or entity who could have been included in future legal action.

The Giuffre source said that he could not have been a potential defendants.

Andrew's legal team will try to have Giuffre's motion dismissed, relying on the 2009 agreement with Epstein, which Andrew has long argued released him from all legal jeopardy.

Andrew filed his initial legal brief on October 29th, which contained a significant part of the Epstein agreement.

The brief says that to avoid being dragged into future legal disputes, Epstein negotiated for broad release and insisted that it cover any and all persons who Giuffre identified as potential targets of future lawsuits.

Prince Andrew is a senior member of the British royal family, which means he falls into one of the specifically identified categories of persons, ie royalty, released from liability under the release agreement, along with politicians, academicians, businessmen, and others allegedly associated with Epstein.

The general release contained therein is a third-party beneficiary of the release agreement.

David Boies, Virginia Giuffre's lawyer, has previously said that the Epstein settlement is irrelevant to Andrew's case.
