You've Never Seen Star Wars Figures Like This

We love the Black Series of Star Wars toys. We write about them every chance we can, often in serious news breaking fashion, other times with sincere longing, and sometimes with silly adoration. We will cover these 6-inchers if we can.

We had to share the amazing art Killcutter showed us using Black Series figures.

Chuck Eiler, also known as Killcutter, told io9 over email that his work is a blend of practical and digital effects. The Chicago,IL resident is a creative director in corporate marketing and when the Pandemic hit, he decided to kill some time by mixing a few of his favorite things: photography, photoshop, and Star Wars toys. He said he loved all things action figures, but none more than Star Wars. I had a lot of toys and playsets and spent a lot of time in the backyard creating worlds. I believe that creativity helped fuel my career path.

It was a very smart decision. You can see more of Killcutter's work by following him on social media, watching his process videos on YouTube, or clicking on the slide show. The majority of the photos are self-explanatory, which is a good thing.
